Our range of full and half hoods are made by the same team, and to the same exacting specifications, as the hoods we provide to the Caterham factory on a weekly basis. All of our full and half hoods are produced as standard in black vinyl or in mohair which is considered a quality upgrade to your existing hood. For an additional fee, we can manufacture hoods in coloured vinyl or mohair to complement your Caterham. Our standard black half hoods come with black piping but for a small additional fee coloured piping can be incorporated.

(If interested in our half hoods please let us know the type of chassis you have (S3 or SV), the roll bar you have (Standard, FIA – single or double diagonal) and the measurement (in cms) from the front middle of the windscreen to the back middle of the roll bar).

Our seats (both standard and GT Seats), Tillet seat pads and seat booster sets can be manufactured in leather and carbon leather. As standard, black leather is used but coloured leather can be sourced at an additional cost. We offer two stitch patterns – standard (horizontal line) or quilted (diagonal/diamond). If required, alternative stitch patterns can be created by our experienced team. Coloured piping and/or stitching can be incorporated for a small additional fee.
Please be advised that we are not able to either emboss or embroider Caterham logos on to items sold via Thundersport Ltd. However we can have logos of your own design embroidered if required.
For those of you wishing to renovate your current 961 seats, we can offer a seat back refurb kit that provides the plastics and foams required to bring form and comfort back to your seat backs.

Tunnel tops can be finished in vinyl (standard), leather, carbon vinyl and carbon leather (with its distinctive pattern). Stitch patterns applied can be either standard (horizontal lines) or quilted as seen in the photographs.
If you can provide the Caterham part number for your tunnel top it makes the order process easier– if not we will be able to work out the correct tunnel top together.

Our full and half side screens can be manufactured in vinyl, carbon vinyl and mohair. As with all our products they are manufactured by the same team, and to the same specification, as those sent to the Caterham factory on a weekly basis. Both full and half side screens have the rigid pod incorporated allowing for that extra bit of elbow room.
Please be advised that we do not supply the hinges for the full screens – these can be obtained from directly from Caterham Cars (or other suppliers) if needed. Additionally, we do not stud the half side screens as they are studded/poppered to fit the car (fixings are provided). If required we do offer a fitting service for an additional fee.

Boot covers can be made in vinyl (to match your existing weather gear) or mohair. Please be advised that, as stud placement varies from Caterham to Caterham, we supply but do not attach the fixings. We do offer a fitting service if required – this will be charged at an additional fee.

Due to the huge number of cut files and patterns that we hold, a Caterham part number is always handy. If this is not available, we will do our best to work out the correct pattern needed using either measurements/photographs or using your existing boot cover as a template.

We offer a range of luggage options to increase the storage capacity of your Caterham. Available in vinyl or mohair.
Boot bags include clip-off carry straps, straps to attach to the roll bar and an integral plastic coated cable to enable the bag to be padlocked to the car for security (padlock not supplied). Boot bags can be used in conjunction with both our half and full hoods.
Bulkhead bags are designed to fit behind your seat, up against the bulkhead, to provide extra shower proof storage for long journeys and tours. Manufactured in vinyl or high quality mohair material to match our full range of mohair luggage and weather gear.
Our tunnel bags, manufactured in vinyl and carbon vinyl, are designed to provide additional storage for wallets, keys and mobile phones etc. Designed for use over the tunnel top and held in place by Velcro and/or straps. Left and right hand drive tunnel bags are available.

Our tonneau covers are made to order and can be manufactured in vinyl, carbon vinyl, mohair or light weight material. If you can provide a Caterham part number for your tonneau cover it makes the ordering process much easier and, like our boot covers, fixings are provided but not attached . Headrest pockets (both for standard or Tillet seats) can be incorporated into any of our tonneau covers. If we don’t have the tonneau cover pattern to fit your car we can book your car in for a bespoke fitting.

Tunnel Heat Insulation –
Manufactured using foil backed heat insulation material, bonded to our own range of standard Caterham Fabrics. The heat insulation material we use reduces sound, absorbs vibration, protects from radiant heat and provides an extra layer of insulated padding. Insulation panels fit both sides of the transmission tunnel and when fitted & tested, occupants have reported a significant reduction in cockpit temperature when compared to bare metal or carpeted interiors. For cars with carpet interiors we recommend that the carpet will need to be cut to length and removed from the area (from the seat forward) to fit the insulation to the metal on the transmission tunnel using self-adhesive velcro.
